Jesus Saucedo enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1998 and served for four years, reaching the rank of Sergeant. Jesus deployed to the Middle East Region during the September 2001 9/11 attacks in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Thereafter, Jesus attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in History in June 2005. While attending College, Jesus did an internship at the Van Nuys District Attorney’s Office and gained a significant amount of experience working with several DA’s and learning how the legal system operates.
Jesus enrolled at the University of West Los Angeles School of Law in August 2013 and completed his legal education in June 2018. During his law school career, Jesus received two Witkin’s Awards, an award given to the student who achieved the highest grade in the class. He received Witkin’s Awards in Secured Transactions and California Criminal Procedure.
